TutoringPlatforms.com is a searchable directory of online tutoring platforms, marketplaces and websites. We catalogue where people go to learn from a tutor and where tutors go to teach and earn — from language marketplaces like Preply and italki, to academic marketplaces like Wyzant and Superprof, test-prep brands, homework-help apps, kids’ class marketplaces, and coding, STEM and music lessons.
Most “best tutoring platform” lists online are published by a tutoring company ranking itself first. We are different: we don’t run tutoring, so our job is simply to describe each platform accurately and let you compare them by subject, model, price and country.
How the directory works
- Each platform has its own page with the facts that matter — type, model, founding year, headquarters, regions, subjects and pricing.
- Platforms are grouped into types you can browse, and you can put any two side by side on a comparison page.
- We keep closed, merged and pivoted platforms in the directory for reference, clearly marked.
A note on this build
This is an early version. The listings here are a curated starter set drawn from our research of 200+ platforms; we’re expanding coverage and adding data like fees, tutor payout rates and ratings over time.
