Chegg Study works primarily as an asynchronous, on-demand model rather than scheduled sessions: students search a large library of step-by-step textbook solutions and expert-answered questions, or submit their own homework questions to paid Chegg experts. Coverage spans common college and high-school subjects, increasingly supplemented by AI tools. Notably, Chegg Tutors — the company’s separate live one-on-one tutoring service — was discontinued on January 31, 2021, so real-time human tutoring is no longer offered.
