Studiosity

Studiosity is an Australian online study-help service, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Sydney, that universities and institutions pay for so their students can access it free. Rather than selling to individual students, it operates a business-to-institution model: access is provided through a secure integration with each university’s learning management system, available 24/7 across desktop and mobile.

The service centres on two offerings. "Connect Live" provides one-to-one study help in real time via online chat with a subject specialist, and "Writing Feedback" lets students submit a draft and receive feedback on structure, referencing, and argument (not subject content), typically within 24 hours. To deliver around-the-clock coverage, Studiosity employs specialists across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa, and the UK, who guide rather than complete or grade work.

Because institutions fund the service, students pay nothing directly; pricing is handled through institutional contracts. Studiosity reports wide adoption — around 70% of Australian universities and roughly 20 partners across the UK and Europe — and cites studies linking its use to higher grades and retention. It best suits university students at partner institutions who want on-demand academic-skills support, particularly with writing.
